91²Ö¿â Earns First Generation-Serving Institution Designation
Arapahoe Community College (ACC) has earned the Colorado Department of Higher Education's (CDHE) .
CDHE First Generation-Serving Campus designation recognizes colleges and universities that enroll, and support, a higher-than-average number of first generation students (defined as students whose parents did not complete a bachelor’s degree).
Established through , the designation honors institutions whose first generation resident undergraduate enrollment meets or exceeds the statewide average of 37% over three consecutive years, as well as institutions participating in the , a national network of colleges and universities committed to advancing the success of first-generation college students through intentional, institution-wide strategies.
91²Ö¿â was also awarded First Generation Serving Campus Designation on behalf of the CDHE in November 2024, as well as Network Champion from FirstGen Forward in March 2025.
